After coming off of months of virtual classes, we have two Creative Inquiry courses going strong for the fall 2021 semester. The first is an ART 299 Research in the Visual Arts class where the student will be creating a body of work that includes at least three fine art printmaking processes: woodcuts, monoprints, and solar plate etching. The other is a SOC 299 Research in Sociology class in which the student will investigate the history of the preservation movement and the history of Liberia, SC and Soapstone Church, in particular. Posts from the students of these classes explaining their projects and how they feel about taking on such a course are forthcoming. Please check back soon!
